BEST Aftermarket seats in 4th Gen. Im planning to switch out the stock seating in my 96 T/A to an aftermarket one that can use the 5-point seatbelts. If the stock ones can and is usually cheaper to get redone i will do it that way.

I attachéd the circuit board under the fuse box with a sheet metal bracket I made. This is a 1979 Camaro with GTO seats put in it. Take note of the rear of the console position in both pictures. This is why I didn't go for them. You lose 100% of the rear seats leg room because the seats are monstrous. 4th gen seats (see pics above) you reserve a TON of legroom.
The front seats, front 4 bolt holes line up perfect. The rear 4 holes of the front seats require modification. You can either modify the track and make it longer or redrill holes and put new bolts in. make sure to install huge washers under the floor so the dont rip thru in an accident.You MUST use the 71 tracks and fab up a couple pieces of metal to make the tracks fit the 4th gen seats. Very easy to do. I'm assuming this will work on any 70 - 74 Camaro or Firebird. Here's what I did. First of course, removed my original seats. This is how the tracks compare.
