Both profiles suck imo. BCM's ELW doesn't have enough meat on the chamber end for rigidity. Probably would have groups open up a bit after some shooting and definitely a shift with a suppressor. A better example of a LW profile would be Criterion's CORE.

Fluted is half oz lighter per BCM, won't be as stiff as elw. (fluted barrels are as stiff as a barrel of the same weight; OD determines stiffness). ELW will be better balanced. BFH gov't will not heat up as fast and groups won't open as quickly as ELW after a few mags. But ELW will cool faster.
