I’ve made several macros that make use of the wait function in Final Fantasy XIV. This is extremely useful for things like the songbird emote. (The emotes effect, approximately has an 8 second duration) Another excellent use is a macro that changes your job while doing a series of emotes.

Worst macro was a healer raise macro. It was "Get up scrub". What made this bad wasn't the macro but the irony of the healer being a scrub.
