1 week ahead is not bad at all. The growth scan is just an estimate, I don't know anyone who has had a baby that was spot on at birth with what was estimated in the growth scan. They can be off by like a pound. Especially with GD that's not bad at all, a lot of GD folks will measure like 3-4 weeks ahead.
