In the late 1980s I saw a lovely piece of calligraphy in a craft show. It was a poem about the death of a cat and, as far s I can remember it, it talked about the things that the cat had done, eg climbing trees. It was about a cat at the end of its life and I think it was just about to be taken to the vet for the last time.
