Threads of fate or replay storyline.
I'm starting to level some alts past 50 and I haven't found much about leveling with threads of fate except that it's slower but you can choose your covenant/catch up on renown faster. Is there a good level/time to start Threads of Fate or is it better to just keep playing through the story to 60 and skip ToF?
Nov 27, 2020 · In terms of replay ability- each character can go a different path (different quests etc) and stil get the same overall end goal. The main story was great, don’t get me wrong, but I’d say after 2 maybe 3 chars I’d be sick of it. The Threads of Fate is a new system in Shadowlands, allowing players who have already raised one character to maximum level to skip the campaign quests on future playthroughs, allowing alts to immediately join their covenant of choice, as well as granting access to world quests, anima collection, and all four leveling zones.For me, the freeform nature of Threads of Fate makes it the best choice. Keep in mind that Bonus Objectives and World Quests seem to be slightly undertuned in terms of exp rewarded vs the time it takes to complete them, so you're mostly looking at specifically side quests and dungeon spamming.

The problem with allowing to cancel threads of fate could be the same problem as to why there is no option to use party sync solo to replay previously completed quests, it should very hard to implement given that everything in this game is associated with quests that behind the scends are just flags that have two states, you have completed it or not.

In front of the building that houses the Warchief are two ebon blade guys. They will have a low level quest called Into the Shadowlands or something. Talk with them and there you can select to skip the Maw intro. You will get teleported to Oribos and the Fatescriber will give you the chance to choose Threads of Fate or Replay the Story.
