The real reason is that combo count increases extremely fast when you don't move and do aim+attack (tested this in helene when leveling up a dragon nikana). If a weapon has a polarity which utilizes a stance that doesn't do as above, I'll change the polarity. If a weapon has NO mobile stances, like the two-handed Nikanas, then I simply won't use that melee weapon. Warframe is a fast paced game, so having a slow and rooted stance just doesn't jive with the way I play.
