The Emergency Action Plan (EAP) has been developed to provide proper emergency management in the event of a severe injury or illness to an athlete, coach, official, or spectator at a Dartmouth College athletic venue. This plan is intended to provide guidelines for management of emergencies and should be adapted to each situation.

An emergency action plan is only effective as its emergency team. Each member of the emergency team will have designated role in the Emergency Action Plan depending on their level of medical knowledge and training. The most qualified person on scene (the ATC or Team Physician) will take command of the emergency situation.
