I have Azeron Cyborg Compact (and Compact & Classic) working with the v60 firmware with MATRIX. MATRIX works with Azeron's thumbstick in 360 Controller mode only for analog input. Just pick a game you play a lot, find a good button config for it, then translate that to the other games you play. This also helps alleviate the limit of 2 onboard profiles because all games can essentially use the same profile and you can change the keybinds accordingly. Just have a joystick setup and a wasd setup on each onboard profile.
The cyborg towers looked weird too me but maybe they would feel better than they look. The top buttons on the compact don't push in as easy as the rest of them so if you don't have it really tightened down it will move the whole tower when you press them.
