Just so you know, the axeman trait only increases your attack speed when CUTTING TREES. It doesn't do anything to your attack speed against zombies. You need more Fitness if you want to increase Attack Speed. Personally my Axe builds are generally Fire Officers, so I can start with 10 Fitness or 9 Fitness with Underweight. With this build you're less likely to get scratched. You won't get tired very quickly. You'll run faster and carry more. You'll also hit harder. The only things negatively affecting you really is hearing range.
