This was purchased with a 6 inch barrel and has a blued finish. I believe this is a large frame revolver. The serial number is 26851-1.It is a Dan Wesson Model 15-2 .357 magnum. It was made at the the Monson, MA factory and has the serial number 190xxx . The best that the Dan Wesson people can tell me is the late 70's to early 80's.From the serial number it looks to have been made in 1999.
