I think some kind of drop protection (max 5?) should be implemented or a token system so I can turn in 5-10 token completions for an exotic. Legend lost sectors should be at a 25% drop rate and Master should be at least 40-45%. If you all want to farm Exotics together it will always be much more efficient to run Ordeals together. Plus, doing the Lost Sectors in a group will never drop the exclusive ones to them.
