For those who don't know, in D&D Dragonborn have 3 race features: +2 to Strength and +1 to Charisma. Breath Weapon, the type and shape of which is determined by the color of dragon you choose. It does 2d6 damage at base, then gains a d6 at levels 6, 11, and 16. Recharges on a short rest.

I almost always play tiefling in dnd and all of mine look wildly different, Id love for that to be represented in the game with a lil more options. Nov 12, 2017 · Perhaps the thing about the tail was in-part to distinguish from Half-Dragons which differ from Dragonborn. In 3.5e lore, Dragonborn are converted Humanoids. I've seen 5e characters that used that lore for a paladin order (from which the Dragonborn player character comes). (Ref: Oxventure D&D campaignette 2 and onward.)
