Depends on the roll, but you're pretty much right. It's a stat monster, so any combination of perks just adding more raw stats will get you where you want to go, no arrowhead/cb needed. My favorite roll so far is just a simple roll of smallbore, ricochet, killing wind, eye of the storm, range mw.
