It does not take much more than the stock 75 degrees to get an improvement. Try setting the FOV to 90 or even 85. 100 might be too much for the aspect ratio of the monitor.

I've change the res to ultrawide in both pref files in steam and docs folders and i even added the fdefault etc to these files and the ini file. I've tried using the tilde key and typing FOV=90 or 100 and still nothing changes for me.
