I have the Faxon Gunner 7.5" non match series barrel and that thing is sub moa with 208gr subsonic A-max rounds. NOTE, no need for an adjustable gas block for 300blk, so save some money, don't avoid the BA barrels with pinned gas blocks thinking you'd have to swap it out. I'd go with the 1:8 if you might use it with fast light rounds.

Jan 2, 2020 · I have been impressed by the ballistic advantage barrels that I have. I’m running the 9” 300blk and 10.3” 5.56. Both are suppressed and both have run flawless with zero issues. BA Hanson barrels come with a pinned low profile gas block which is really great feature. Can’t speak for faxon barrels but I’ve read good things about them.

I have used Aero Precision and Ballistic Advantage (basically the same company, same ownership). I've also used Odin Works, factory Bushamster, BCM, and generic no brand BCGs. Honestly, never really had an issue with any of them. However, for a precision rifle, I would stick with one of the premium brands.Have a BA and Faxon in 9mm. They're boring to shoot at the range. Faxon is not a good barrel company IMO. Granted it's a sample size of 2 but still both bad barrels. I like criterion as a first choice these days and my daniel defense barrels have always been accurate and long lasting. Wouldn't hesitate to buy a barrel that fits your needs from either 1:8 twist on everything for me.
