Course Load. Students who register for 8 or more credit hours in an academic term are regarded as full-time students. Students will not be permitted to enroll in more than 18 hours during a regular semester or more than 8 credit hours during a summer session without appropriate unit override approval.
Students registered for 19 or more hours are charged the applicable non-resident, full-time tuition block rate plus the non-resident per hour rate for every hour above 18. Degree-seeking students in their first or second semester and are registered in 6 hours or less are granted resident rates.
