Well you can go the Location window (left side on the screen) and then select planet (default is Earth) from a list their, i don't think the latest version that i have has Andromeda or any other extra solar system objects. But since it is open source, maybe someday someone will add this functionality that you want. Good luck.
As the title suggests i want element to be craftable in replicator. crafting in city terminal is super slow and can get your element stolen by anyone. you only get 1/5 of the element when crafting so i don't see this as a game breaking change also dust weighs a significant amount. Fastest way right now is tek replicator, at least to my knowledge. But if you do that you waste 1 element. My bad, I misread your post as shards to element. Element from dust can be crafted in your inventory so the fastest way is probably to mindwipe and pump into weight and crafting speed. At least, I think that would be the fastest.
