Commando is my favorite character out of the whole selection. He has a stun, a high damage that can hit multiple enemies, and mobility. His gun does kinda suck at first but after like 1 - 2 stages its fine. What a crappy introduction to the game, TBH. Transcendence being bad in some situations is completely fine given how broken plasma shrimp is. Its still doable, albeit slow, if you stack bustling fungus, but that's not viable for every survivor every time. It's still doable early without Stacking fungus. You just have to know the paths.
