No power to rh wire nest e74.
Technically I don't have AC, but the Y1 wire was my cooling wire. Just left it disconnected wrapped in electrical tape. Tech said, due to the outside temp being so cold, the furnace freaks out and didn't know what to do, so did nothing. Paraphrasing, of course.
Now you can use the green wire connected to G on nest and board & connected to to C on both nest and board but you would need to add a wire in between G & Y on the board to have the fan come on when the AC comes on. You would lose ability to turn on the fan ONLY option. Nest will recognize that and fan only option would not be visible on the nest.We did everything but still show no power. This problem caused battery to die hard. It is taking way too long to charge up to maximum capacity. I can't do factory reset without full battery power. I know the wired connections are good. I checked the RH Connector wire and it has a steady 27.4VAC. There is no longer any reason why this is keeps faulting out.

Jun 2, 2022 · Same thing happened to me. And my thermostat is less than two years old. Technician came out and verified that the thermostat was defective and was not relaying to my unit properly. The technician verified all of the wiring and that it was wired correctly but Thermostat was not sending of Rome... It quickly changed from Heat mode to A/C mode because of this. I don't think my Heatpump unit liked this very much. Since that happend I first got an E105 then eventually an E74. I can't continue from the E74 because it says "no power to RH".
