Found solution on tModLoader discord. Disable the "Razer Cortex" program. I fully uninstalled it and it fixed the problem. This is super easily fixed. To activate windowed borderless first you go to Documents>My Games>Terraria>tModLoader and open up the config.json file in notepad. Terrarian. Jun 26, 2022. #1. With or without mods the newest (reinstalled) version of tModLoader lags, the game is constantly dropping frames but never freezes. My computer has never lagged on previous versions of tModLoader or base Terraria I've even lowered the graphics settings which I've never had to do before.

If you're on a non-Windows computer or have Steam installed elsewhere, type .findinstall in botworld to get to the tModLoader folder, then just go back one folder to end up in the common folder mentioned earlier. My problem is that when I play Terraria in full screen it feels as though the game is running in slow motion. It seems like it is locked at 40 fps but I have frame skip on and V-Sync off.
