(The line is definitely lighter than the control line but by no means a squinter.) I am 7dp3dt, 12 days past a 10,000 unit Novarel trigger shot.The shot made me feel sleepy, hungry, crampy and all the things that pregnancy feels like. It lasted about 10 days and when it finally wore off I felt so much better! ... (somewhat as a project) and got a VERY faint BFP so I know the trigger is working it's way out. It depends on your trigger. If it was ovidrel it shouldn't last more then 10 days, other trigger brands last up to 14 days. Also if you have any liver or kidney issues the trigger may last longer. Best thing to do would be to test again tomorrow and see if the line as darkened.

The darker line is usually the control line. This is not a sign of a problem with the pregnancy or the pregnancy test, assuming it came up within the time limits of the test. For my successful ivf cycle, I had a positive preg test on the equivalent of 7dpo - it was the trigger. I tested the trigger out on 8dpo, and by 10dpo I had a clear bfp.
