KU Mentoring is open to students, alumni, faculty and staff, and friends of the University of Kansas. Professionals who are looking for opportunities to connect with KU and provide assistance to Jayhawks are also welcome.KU Mentoring Program. The KU Business Mentoring Program brings together alumni and current KU Business students in a formal and professional mentor/mentee relationship. Formal matching happens twice per year. Through KU Connect (on the mentoring.ku.edu platform), students can also search through alumni and connect, similar to LinkedIn.Community leaders should spend a good chunk of their time recruiting, encouraging, training, mentoring, and supporting others to become leaders.
