It is a great design, as it saves a ton of weight, but is in my opinion outdated and unnecessarily noisy with the old spring steel climbing band.

I have two Loggy Bayou climbers that I've had for maybe 12 years or more. They're lighter than most of the climbers I've seen. I bought a Summit Razzor SS last season and had a time getting use to it. It's a little slower in the setup process (Razzor), but now that I've used it quite a bit I wouldn't trade my Summit for anything else.

I’ve had the same Loggy bayou climbing stand for 37 years. They are on craigslist, some like new for $50-100. I’ve tried, lone Wolf, summit, ammacker, ect. IMO, nothing easier to climb with than an old Loggy with the metal band. Yes there are more comfortable Climbing stands on the market. I’ve modified mine over the years.
