If a 4 by 8 sheet of Plywood is the starting point of a many HO scale layouts, then a hollow Core Door is a great start for an N scale pike. At 6 feet and 8 inches, it is 30% larger in scale. But, it takes up less room. Since doors come in a veriety of widths you have more flexability in your choice of size for your layout.
