I ride in my friends 98+ camaros all the time and my butt gets sore and my back hurts after riding in a long trip. The pontiac seats have better support than the camaros and are more adjustable. The camaro I am purchasing comes with cloth seats. My question is, would it be better to go find a wrecked 4th gen camaro and take the leather seats out of that one, which would be quite pricey. Or, I also found leather seat covers that look just like the leather from a normal camaro, not some knock off brand?This is a 1979 Camaro with GTO seats put in it. Take note of the rear of the console position in both pictures. This is why I didn't go for them. Now that I have gotten them and had a chance to test fit them, I noticed that the holes in the seats and the holes in the floor did not line up. I have tryed switching the seat rails with the origional ones from the old seats and the did not match. The front seats, front 4 bolt holes line up perfect. The rear 4 holes of the front seats require modification. You can either modify the track and make it longer or redrill holes and put new bolts in. make sure to install huge washers under the floor so the dont rip thru in an accident.
