21 Posted June 11, 2021 Hey all, I recently upgraded to a Ryzen 7 5800x but kept my old cooler (Noctua NH-U12S SE-AM4). Previously, I had a Ryzen 7 1800x which ran perfectly fine with that cooler. I did not think that was going to be a problem as the 5800x only has a 10W higher TDP (105W) and the cooler is rated for 129W by Noctua.
