Sounds like you gotta get aerialite another way. Since your world was made before the update, disenchanted aerialite didn't generate on sky islands. And since you killed perforators/hive mind after the update, it didn't generate in either the caverns or on sky islands. You can get the ore from aerialite slimes tho.
