What SL are you wanting to stay in, because at the 150 pvp level, yes, flynn's ring is worth it, however at higher levels the 50 pts of physical damage you get from the ring won't be worth the loss of poise and defense you get from heavy armor. Just my opinion tho.

Flynn's ring works depending on your maximum equip load, not your current equip load percentage. It gives at most +50 physical damage, and that's at about 58.5 max equip load. You can get that with 9 vit and a Third Dragon Ring.
