Oct 22, 2020 · you still get it from hallowd mimics (the only way) the closest to your issue is probibly they reduced the drop chanse and even at 25% it dosnt mean by your 4th kill its going to be that drop just each time you kill its 25% while that is stupid considering you killd 17 of em technicly speaking it could take 100 to get the drop or your first.

You can't get the megashark without defeating the destroyer, but I would say the storm bow would be the best weapon you can have for the mechanical bosses. I like megashark plus crystal bullets for skeletron. Definitely use stormbow plus holy arrows for the destroyer.
