So let's say a towers base stats has 100 damage, with the orb equipped on it, it would be 200 damage. It doesn't increase the damage of a towers upgrades though. So let's say upgrade 1 adds 100 damage, that doesn't change. Theres also an orb you can get from trial 3 on extreme difficulty which is the cost orb, which reduces the cost of a tower.
