When I looked at the comments, a few people asked about the EZ9mm and they replied that they'd have one after the new year starts. We'll we're almost in March and it's not here yet. Grrr.

The springs are designed to collapse to a certain point, and making it longer by stretching has no real effect. In reality he has weakened the spring but extending it beyond it's design.

Don't really notice it now. Very happy with this gun! In 2013, the safety …I've brought this problem to the attention of folks on here. If you don't reverse the button , any slight pressure to the side of the gun will drop the mag. The problem is a poorly designed release with a button 3/32" proud of the grip frame. I like the gun but S&W dropped the ball there. The 9mm EZ doesn't have this problem.
