I 100000% understand this. Barbri writes their questions differently, so it’s good that you’re being exposed to questions that are being written in a different way. Stupid Barbri questions, I’m forever getting a bunch wrong. Don’t get too discouraged, although I understand the defeating feeling of getting a bunch wrong.

Tl;dr, a higher percentile is better, and percent correct is not the same as “percentile.” Your performance on the simulated was better than 65% of Barbri students in the most recent testing period. It’s solid, and seems like you’re on track to earn a passing score (provided your written scores are also solid!). This seems too good to be true. I used BarMax for MPRE prep and was consistently scoring 80-85% before switching to Barbri for the last 4-5 days and my scores immediately dropped (between 60-68%) which concerned me greatly. Exam day was a relief as all questions were much easier than what was contained in Barbri, it felt easy in comparison (I ended up with a 129).

I also failed mine and still passed the bar the first time with barbri. my suggestion: look at this as things to learn, not things you’ve missed. this mindset helps avoid burnout (to an extent) and feeling like you’ve “failed”. no score matters except for the bar exam. keep doing extra multiples, but maybe try to sprinkle in some barbri questions for topics you’ve missed. there’s ...
