Currently, the only way to get the Kleptomaniac Rats archaeology site and the associated Relic World is the anomaly "Weapon Trails". In my experience, only human players get it. When considering the immense value of just the Relic World, this basically rigs the game heavily in the human player's favour.

Also appart from rare ressources ecu > "other planet types" so if you have a relic world you sooner or later want to upgrade it into an ecu. So having a relic world as your home planet is good, especialy when it is a plus sized home world. How good it realy is depends on your games settings, playstile, skill level and desired result.

Cybrex relic essentially grants all the alloys you need for your first few fleets. And their armies are second to none and unlike other top tier armies, you can build an unlimited amount of them. Only downsides being long production time and upkeep cost.
