I'm not sure whether the ai empires inventing the jump drive also make it happen, or this only applies to yourself. The AI can prove to be a reliable meat shield when a superior force declares war on you, giving you precious time to prepare. Sapient Combat AI Question. I have a Spiritualist Corp, have had Robots since they were available. Then two seperate Empires had AI uprisings at the same time. So I did the rational thing and outlawed AI and robots. BUT my bots were Synths so I had to manually purge them (except for the ones that inexplicably had the Psychic Trait). This likely truly hampered my fleet's ability to fight with a truly challenging enemy. Since other AI generated ships were also, AI generated, their fleets did not cause me much of an issue. In the FE case, I think that there is a good chance their ships are a bit better designed, likely by devs themselves. If another warning sign occurs, then there's problems, but as far as I know just setting them to Citizens Rights will prevent any rebellion, unless you do it too late and it triggers anyway. You also need to give them citizenship in the species list not just enact the policy. Done that as well.Picket - I'd say this is easily a win for Precognitive. In my last two games where AI rebellion was on the way (i.e I get the warning sign) I could satop it by choosing the "hotfix" option.

A crisis faction can only get at most a 60% chance to spawn, with 20% the minimum for any other faction to spawn. So even if the galaxy is filled with synths and sapient combat AI, Contingency will only ever spawn 60% of the time and you can still get Unbidden/Prethoryn 20% of the time. Likewise for getting warp drives.

Good answer! I ended up reverting AI rights to Servitude and researched Synthetics, just as I planned. Years after, still no AI rebellion happened, so it seems to have worked. This means, that if you plan to enslave AI but don't wanna deal with the rebellion, you can give Citizen rights to AI as soon as the first signs of an AI rebellion show up.Im new and i couldnt really find much online that i recent, why exactly is tech like "sythetics" "jump drives" "sapient combat ai" dangerous`? i had all of them in my last run for a couple hundred years and nothing happened before game ended bc i won.
