**SIG P220/P225/P226/P229 slides cannot be directly milled for any optic due to the deep cavity for the safety plunger at the rear of the slide. The only option we offer on these slides is to mill our “cross” cut to the depth of the base of the rear sight dovetail and use our cross adaptor plate to mount the optic to the slide. They can mill the sides lower them the center without risk to the slide and the clamp style optics happen to be lower on the sides then the center. The ACRO body is relatively long as well. Perhaps that's the issue.
