More importantly, Camp Kesem was a part of my childhood. Having a father with terminal cancer diagnosed at the beginning of my life, I started going to Camp Kesem when I was six years old in 2009, and I had no idea at the time how much it could influence my life and the lives of the friends I made at Camp.

Camp Kesem at MIT's mission is to serve the kids of cancer patients, running two free weeks of sleepaway camp for over 200 incredible campers. From fundraising over $160K annually to programming the entirety of camp, we do it all. For our counselors, it's a humbling and fulfilling experience.
