I think the only difference I mine doesn't have the slide safety (I prefer not to have one on a carry pistol, and carry in a kydex IWB holster that completely covers the entire trigger guard and fits very snugly), and mine has 3 dot sights vs just basic sights machined into the slide on the EC9s.

Size and weight is same as LC380. I also have the original LCP. The recoil on the LC9s is easier to handle than the LCP in my opinion. Original LCP has the the very long trigger that is on the original LC9. I have fired 150 rounds in a single session with the LC9s with no issues.
1.) Capacity 7+1 rounds vs 5 Rounds. 2.) Reloading the speed strip is roughly the size of a spare LC9 mag, but it is much easier to shove a 7 round mag in to the LC9 vs 2 rounds at a time with a "speed strip". 3.) Ruger LC9, LC9S or LC9 Pro. I've been thinking about a Ruger LC9 of one of the three configurations, having shot a friends LC9 about a year ago. The original LC9 DAO was hammer fired, and some thoughts were expressed about problems of failed ignition. The LC9S, is striker fired, DAO, and the LC9Pro is single action with only a trigger safety.

The LC9s was more accurate (to me) and the P365 failed to return to battery once and failed to reset once. The first time I palmed the slide forward and it fired the next round. The second time the trigger failed to reset. It may have been the ammo, WWB target loads.

Not sure it is, but just looked on Rugers website and the only ones left are the Distributor exclusive models. While I have retired mine to just range use and moved on to another sub-compact, the LC9S was a big part of my shooting life for years.We (wife and I) have both the LC9 and the LC9s. I hate the trigger on the LC9, so I totally understand getting the glock. However, compare it to the LC9s, the trigger is night and day. I carry the s-pro and am going to transition the wife to the s as well. That being said, if you like your glock, then carry it.
