This means two thing. For one, they aren't compatible with motherboard controls. For two, you have RGB with NZXT CAM and going through pump. Check you manual for more details. You should be daisy-chaining fans and then connecting them to pump, then pump with USB to mobo.

Unless you have an NZXT fan hub, you won't be able to control the fan speeds through CAM. They will be done through your bios. Bypasses every bounce in windows, no more ramp ups. Doing it that way, the kraken responds more like a full loop and less like an air cooler.
