The LC9 is smaller for carry but the Shield is a better, more comfortable shooter. Shields.Gutshu •. If you already have a glock a LC9s will be more familiar than a p938 especially if you get the pro model without a safety. If you plan on switching back and forth I would stick to getting what you are familiar with. If you do decide to switch to a p938 make sure to practice sweeping the safety.It makes a good Concealed Carry pistol, a good Home Defense pistol, with the extra rounds the extended magazine provides. Twisted Industries has a 22 conversion coming for the LC9. It hasn't been released yet, but I have one, and it works perfectly. The LC9 is smaller but the SR9C is also an awsome gun. Go handle both of them before you make a decision. Whichever you choose get a good holster If your going to conceal all the time it will make a difference. Get one and then save money for the other, that's the best way to make a decision.
