It's all about patients although I got stuck in a 3 minute loop being detected on spawn lol. It's because the guards patterns are not exactly and can get out of sync and actually provide no path to the end. People who don't know this will just get stuck because the puzzle is unsolvable on that world at the moment.

Mm2 is straight forward. Yes its longer and takes more time, but they dont bullshit you like the ratcatchers guards. The ratcatchers guards have some wonky 180 degree vision while the mm2 guards are like 90 at best.
