Okay! So, as someone who has had both tarantula weapons and a raiders axe, the recluse fang doesn't take long to max (afk on island) and, if maxed, can do around the same as an aotd to spiders. A raiders axe can be used for much more, and you can just use an aotd when doing tarantulas so that you can do t4s. WispishWurm.
