According to some research about it, you can either find the real Red Key or leave a trinket in a treasure room during the first part of the run (drop it by keeping ctrl pressed a few seconds). When you get in the "climbing" part, go to that same treasure room (on the same floor), the trinket will be changed into a one-use version of the Red Key.
