Nov 23, 2022 · Factorio is a game about space technology and exploration. In the game, you will be able to research and develop new technologies that will help you in your quest to colonize space. The game is very complex, and there is much to learn before playing. However, once you get the hang of it, you will be able to enjoy the game’s many challenges.
First, you must build a steel plate facility in your factory. Steel plates are highly demanded for many things so an effective steelworks is a must. A brick facility should be setup as well for walls, steel furnaces, and researching. Resource shortage and faunas should be quite serious in this time as well.I am currently updating this old guide to include blueprints for every part and stage in the game. Not to mention the size of the tree farms you'll need to make a megabase. Early game, just store bitumen and/or pave tarmac everywhere. Mid/late game, turn bitumen into graphite and consume excess with air filters. Coal liquefaction is really helpful all game long because it results in much more sulfur than crude oil.Seems like you are using K2 from some of your comments. Make a wood/fuel/water/sand loop into biomethanol and power your factorio off gas plants. They are pretty energy dense. This probably wasn't optimal, but I used huge numbers of burner turbines until I was ready to switch to nuclear.
